Based on the CrossFit prescription of “constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity,” our CrossFit programme combines strength training with the “classic” CrossFit cardio workout. For this 1-hour class, you could be working on pull-ups, rowing, burpees and much more. Every WOD is different so you never get bored! We scale each workout to your fitness level, so you get the maximum workout every time. CrossFit memberships include access to ALL StrongBox classes!
This class follows the same structure and ideology as our regular CrossFit group class in our ladies only space.
Every new CrossFitter begins in our Basics course. You’ll train beside other beginners just like you and learn the correct techniques for classic CrossFit movements. This course will ease you into the intensity of the CrossFit workouts.
1 hour of high intensity, interval training in a close, fun packed group environment all done with a pumping soundtrack. Burn up to 1,000 calories and train like you’ve never trained before. 1,000CC Bootcamp incorporates all the best from CrossFit, TRX, Cardio Intervals, Core work, and even a bit of TRX and Pilates.
StrongBox Metcon requires NO experience with CrossFit and is open to all fitness levels. It will incorporate many of the bodyweight, gymnastics, and metabolic conditioning workouts found in CrossFit but there will be NO heavy weightlifting or olympic lifting. As with CrossFit, all exercises can be scaled to ability. Overall, this program is fun, intense, measurable, and scaleable.
60 minute boxing conditioning class incorporating striking skills, movement and footwork, cardio conditioning and bag work. No contact, but a great class for those looking to develop boxing skills or just enjoy a fun and intensive workout.
A workout focussed on core strength, posture, and technique. Using the TRX, Kettlebell, and Bodyweight drills, CoreFit will develop toned muscles, a strong core, postural stability, balance, and technical skill.
The lesson in this holistic class is to trust and let go! Acro Yoga blends yoga, acrobatics and massage. The class will include a combination of asana sequences, partner yoga, assisted inversions and partner acrobatics. No experience is required, nor is a partner. Open to all levels, modifications and variations will be given.
